Walking to Hostel:
Not recommended. Walking to Sanborn Park Hostel is a 3 mile hike and nearly a 1000 foot elevation gain from Saratoga Village. The primary highway (Hwy 9) has little shoulder with high traffic. Please call for a ride if traveling by foot.

Taxi:
A suggestion to those favoring taxi transportation. Historically, taxis take an unneccessary "short cut" via mountain roads, which can be very time consuming and expensive for hostelers. Please call the hostel for a ride from Saratoga, you can easily obtain a ride, not be taken for one.

Please call or write the hostel if you have additional questions.
